M&J Travels Update

Ah, this one is difficult to write. Mainly because I never expected that we would be doing this.

If you are on Facebook, you’ve probably seen by now the post stating that M&J Travels is temporarily closing as a travel business. It’s true. We are closing our virtual doors. May not be forever, but we will see what the next year or so brings. For now though, we are closed.

This decision did not come lightly. We’ve spent the past ten months talking about it, going over possibilities, trying to figure out what exactly we wanted to do. This was the end result.

We have LOVED booking adventures for people over the years. We’ve loved traveling with people over the years. We still plan to travel (we have a cruise lined up, tons of local adventures, etc), we just won’t be in charge of your bookings anymore the same way we did before.

So what does that mean for M&J Travels brand? Well…we may have something in the works that will shift the brand from a travel business to something else travel related! The page will definitely stay and will be going through some changes. The groups will stay for now, but may shift in the future to better align with our new adventure.

What will we be focusing on now? LIFE! Well mostly. As many of you know, I’m an author as well, and with that comes a LOT of background work. Even though I have the absolute, most amazing PA team and publisher. I still have a lot of work to do behind the scenes with writing. Like actually writing. We also have this blog that I’m trying to reignite to be what I’m wanting it to be. Plus working full time, and then taking those precious few hours in the evening to spend together, try to relax and unwind from our busy days. It’s a lot and doesn’t leave us the time we want to dedicate to our travel business like before.

So, again, thank you all for the past ten years of continued support. We hope that you will be ready to join us on the next big adventure with the M&J Travels brand!
