Life,  Whispers of Everything

Ready for the new year!

If you’ve been here before you know that I normally set goals. Not resolutions. Resolutions get pushed away within week one. Goals are for the whole year. Something to work toward. So let’s check out how we did for 2025 and what we have planned for 2026!

2025

Good gravy. I haven’t written all damn year. I will definitely work to fix that next year!

Let’s see how I did!

Major Goals:

** Publish two books, finish writing two – three more.

I did this!! Heart of Darkness and The Royal Backup both got published! I didn’t finish writing two or three, but I DID join some epic series!

** Work on herbalism more.

Didn’t really do this. But I did try my hand more at creating teas! So maybe we can say I half did this?

** Explore new places.

We did explore new places. Visited some old places. It’s been a small travel year, but still fun.

Minor Goals:

** Stream more often on Twitch.

Nope. Won’t even lie on that one. BUT now that we have the game room, maybe?

** Organize the spare room.

We did do this. Not exactly the way we would have thought, but we did. We cleaned and organized the spare room first for the girls to have a bedroom. Then once Josh and the girls moved out, we turned it into our game room.

** Keep myself better organized.

I actually want to say about 50/50 on this. I did start to organize better, and I’m hoping to keep that going into 2026.

Let’s keep it light again this year and HOPE that I can actually manage these! It’s been a very crazy end of 2024, so I’m hoping that 2025 will be a bit better.

2026

Alright, time for my goals for 2026. Let’s see what we can do! I think this year, instead of having major and minor goals, I’m just going to have goals.

** Publish one to two books. Finish at least two on my WIP list.
** Post weekly in all the places that I have right now.
** Post at least weekly on my blog and build up Whispers of Everything and Witchy Whispers of Everything.
** Add more décor to the game room (and find a way to keep it cooler).
** Try new places around us.
** Refresh OHHOW.
** Visit/talk to family more (or at least the ones I like).
