It’s that time again!

It’s May! It’s almost the middle of the year. May always holds a special place in my heart. Five years ago James and I went on our honeymoon. We had an amazing time and we announced to our family and friends (from a beach in La Romana) that we had gotten married five months prior.

But that isn’t the only reason I love this month. See also five years ago we decided to take a leap and become travel agents (while still working our full time jobs). Everyone thought we were crazy and that it was a scam. But here we are five years later still going.

In those five years we’ve gone on ten ships inspections, training in New Orleans, a FAM trip to Cancun (where we toured eight resorts), attended countless online training sessions and webinars, and made amazing friends. We are a part of a fantastic team of agents who are always willing to help each other. Being a travel agent is something we love to do and it’s something we plan to keep doing for as long as we can.

Three years ago I joined this group on Facebook for Crazy Ink Publishing. I was nervous and very quiet (in the beginning).

Now three years later I’ve published fourteen solo books (as of today), four anthologies, and one list run. I owe everything to the Crazy Ink team. Especially Erin for believing in me. I have many more books on my schedule and many more years with Crazy Ink.

I’ve always said this, and I always will. I ended up in two amazing teams (that are more like family). I am always thankful for all they have done.

So happy anniversary to M&J Travels and to Michelle Edwards! Here’s to many more years as both!
