Monthly Recap!

Whew! This has been a CRAZY month. And here I was thinking that we would get to relax toward the end of the month.

Alright, so let’s get this recap rolling.

Well, this month started with us heading to Orlando for the first weekend to go to Fanboy Expo. It was a TON of fun, and we were able to meet some pretty awesome people. For more details, you can check out this post!

Then the second weekend of the month, we had a party here at the house. Not a ton of people, but enough to get my anxiety flying high. It was a good day though, and we did have some fun.

We got a weekend of rest (sorta) before this past weekend came about. Here’s where things get a bit interesting!

So the hurricane came flying through the area (more than what was expected here). A ton of places lost power. Thankfully, our little nook didn’t. Graniteville (most of it), made out without losing power. The gas stations right by our house had gas, but everyone and their mom decided to come here.
We had some friend who were without power, so we invited them here to enjoy some AC, power, showers, etc. It was a full weekend, but it was pretty good. I was glad we were able to help out.

Now we are just taking in the last day of the month hanging out and preparing for OCTOBER baby!

I am so excited for this next month. I can’t wait to put up our decorations, hand out candy, and just be spooky!
