It’s an anniversary day!

So by that title you are probably thinking, “Oh! I thought they got married in January.” We did. It’s not that type of anniversary.

Four years ago James and I decided to take a leap and become travel agents. To a lot of people it was a crazy and stupid choice. To us, it was something that we wanted. To this day it was still one of the best choices we had ever made. We got it right the first time. We researched and found the best fit for us, and we got it right. On the first shot. Working with the group of people we work with is amazing. They are there, helpful and everyone is understanding.

Four years ago we made a great decision and every year we get the chance to celebrate that. Every time we book a vacation for someone, we get to celebrate that choice. I am so thankful for our team. Thankful for Scott for messaging us at the right time. So here’s to four years and many more.

There is another anniversary today. One that is just mine. It’s been two years since I started with Crazy Ink. Two years ago I was frustrated about trying to publish my book. I was ready to give up. Then Crazy Ink was there. I joined a group of authors who are led by this badass woman. At first I didn’t understand what I was getting into, but it didn’t take long to realize that this was the place for me. I got it right. On the first shot. It has been a crazy ride, one that’s not over yet. I’m so thankful to Erin for taking a chance on me. Taking a chance on my writing. Two years and hopefully many more as a Crazy Inker!

That’s twice now in my life I’ve gotten something right on the first shot. I couldn’t be more proud and excited for what I’ve accomplished and what’s to come. I love that I get to share a business with my husband. A love we both have that we get to share with everyone who books through us. I love that I get to share my books with the world.

I’m lucky that I not only get to be a part of one amazing team, but two amazing teams.
