Hello Novel November!
Whoa! This year is flying by! Seriously, it’s already November!
As many of you know, November is normally the month where I do my hardcore writing. Normally I write for NaNoWriMo. However as I’ve cut all ties with the organization last year, I’ve decided that I won’t let that stop me from knocking out big numbers in November.
Cliff notes: NaNoWriMo has done some sketchy things by allowing people access to young writers and not banning them from their website. In addition, they’ve let it slip that they are completely okay with AI (and if you know me and many others, AI is NOT something I am okay with). So along with many others, we’ve cut ties and have been watching that organization struggle for the past year.
Onto happier things though! I AM writing for November! I am working on three, yes, three different projects and if I stick to my goals, I’ll have three novels completed and ready for the next stage by the end of the month. Two of those project are about 70% complete though so that’s why I can handle doing three projects. The last project is only about 1% complete so I have a little ways yet on that one.
Here’s a bit about each project I’m working on:
Heart of Darkness (book one in the Darkness series):
This book follows twins Nia and Hazel as they search for Nia’s missing friend. Along the way they find more than they expected.
Nia has spent her entire life keeping a part of her a secret, but when her best friend goes missing she’s determined to use whatever forces necessary to find her.
Her twin, Hazel tags along in hopes to finally tap into the sibling power she knows they have.
Secrets are unraveled, and danger strikes more than once threatening their lives as well as their bond.
The Royal Back-up:
This one was a secret project, but I announced it in July during one of my streams.
Born into a royal family, life is all about duty to family and to the country. When multiple children are born, there is the heir to the throne, and what I like to call, ‘the backup’s’.
I’m a backup. Born second, I don’t have the pressure of one day becoming King. That’s my brothers job.
That was his job.
Now, I’m being groomed for a throne I don’t want anything to do with while trying to juggle the love of my life and my family.
Life as a royal was supposed to be easy for me.
Limits of Loyalty (book one):
This one will be a series. Get ready for some heat!
Six soldiers are placed on one team together.
Chase, the team leader who just transferred back and is battling more than just enemies.
Finn, the second in command who is all about having everyone’s back in all aspects of their lives.
Tucker, strong with his faith and strong willed. He’s also the one with the most medical training.
Colton, the hot head. Stubborn and rough around the edges.
Axel, reckless and the youngest of the group.
Reid, the last added tot he team and all about natural healing.
Together, they are the newly reformed Echo team.
Ready for some amazing stories? I sure am! With that though, I’m off to go knock out my first 2,600 words of Novel November! Wish me luck! Oh! And don’t forget to follow me in all of the places to keep updated on these. Who knows, maybe some teasers will be posts. 😉
