Ah, life!
Well I haven’t really updated in a while. Life has been a bit hectic. Just when I thought it was slowing down, it decided to bounce back with more!
It’s December, so my annual recap will be coming soon (this is not it!)
It’s been a whirlwind of a year, but let’s just update from the last week! On Wednesday, James and I got some pretty crappy news. A woman whom he thought of as a second mom passed away. So Wednesday sucked. He came home immediately and we just kept his mind busy while hanging out here. Thursday we both went back to work and started the process of letting people know for the family. I joked that all his Army buddies will associate with me is death as the only time James (mainly I) message them is to let them know someone passed away.
Friday we both worked, but we got to have a little visitor for the night. We had Lilly (our friend Josh’s youngest) for the night. Her magical hugs and infectious smile and laugh brought a little happiness to James which is exactly what he needed.
Saturday and Sunday we just hung out at home. It was raining most of the time, so if we didn’t need to leave, we didn’t. We FINALLY set up our game room so we’ve spent quite a bit of time in there. And to be honest, I’m loving it. I love my laptop and use it daily (on it right now), but I do love having a desktop for mainly gaming. All my games on ONE device. It’s heaven!
For anyone who doesn’t know, for a while I was using James’s laptop to play Call of Duty (which I had to remove World of Warcraft to do that), and then I had all my other games on my own laptop.
In other news, I’ll be working on my annual review and goals posts here soon. I love doing those! Other than that, I’m going to try to post more. I said try! 😉
